case study: Loudcloud

Client

Loudcloud is the leader in software infrastructure internet services, offering solutions for outsourcing global internet operations for all types and sizes of  e-businesses.  Loudcloud was founded in 1999 by some of the Internet’s early innovators, including Netscape co-founder Marc Andreessen and former Netscape /AOL executives Ben Horowitz and Tim Howes.

Business Challenge

Loudcloud was a very fast growing company, with short-term plans for an IPO.  As a newly formed company, business processes were invented on the fly, with little or no integration across functions and little visibility to information.  An added challenge was that Loudcloud was hiring extremely fast and did not have all the resources in place at the start of the implementation.

Why Quovera?

Quovera’s reputation in leading rapid design and implementation of  best practices with limited pre-existing client processes was key to winning the Loudcloud engagement.   Quovera’s proven methodology, pre-defined templates, and experienced consulting team produced one of the first 11i production implementations world-wide, meeting Loudcloud’s aggressive project timeline and complex business process  requirements.
