case study: 3PARdata

Client

3PARdata designs Carrier-Class storage servers and software that will enable organizations to store, manage and retrieve information at lightning speed. These new, simplified storage solutions will be fully scalable in performance, capacity and connectivity at a fraction of the cost of current information storage options. They will also feature intelligent and flexible storage management software for the most demanding big data applications. 3PARdata is at the forefront of this new information storage paradigm.

Business Challenge

3PARdata required an integrated business solution incorporating Manufacturing and Distribution, Advanced Planning, Financials, Human Resources and Customer Relationship Management while allowing for national/international expansion.  As a newly formed company the solution required a rapid implementation timeline of 3 months to support a 6 month schedule for product design, shipment and customer support. They needed to define their outsourced manufacturing strategy and model, including integration of suppliers with internal planning, procurement, and fulfillment functions.  They also needed to prototype their customer service and support processes, including the ability to give their customers self-service information capabilities.

Why Quovera?

Quovera presented a seasoned team familiar with the required functionality, business processes and challenges of a newly formed enterprise.  The team combined their business experience with Quovera’s e-Product for start-up companies in the Next Generation Infrastructure industry.  This  provided 3PARdata with a scalable, long term solution while meeting their aggressive timeline.
